Andrea McNeill

Andrea McNeill is a technical lead with PHF Science's Health and Environment team.

Qualifications

Andrea earned her BCA/BSc (Hons) from Victoria University and a PhD in immunology from Otago University.

About

Andrea McNeill leads a team of epidemiology analysts and epidemiologists at PHF Science. The team undertakes surveillance and provides advice and intelligence on notifiable and other communicable diseases. Andrea has previously worked in public health in the Communicable Diseases team at the Ministry of Health and in risk assessment and regulation at the Environmental Protection Authority. Andrea is currently a New Zealand representative on the Australian National Influenza Surveillance Committee.
