There was an increase in the number of S. Bovismorbificans (3 in 2024 versus 8 in 2025), S. Give (0 in 2024 versus 10 in 2025), S. Hindmarsh (3 in 2024 versus 8 in 2025) and S. Typhimurium (2 in 2024 versus 12 in 2025)

The Enteric Reference Laboratory confirmed 39 non-human Salmonella isolates in February 2025 compared with 19 in February 2024.
There was an increase in the number of S Bovismorbificans isolates (2 in 2024 versus 8 in 2025), S Give isolates (0 in 2024 versus 9 in 2025) and S Typhimurium isolates (2 in 2024 versus 12 in 2025).
March
The Enteric Reference Laboratory confirmed 47 non-human Salmonella isolates in March 2025 compared with 31 March 2024.
There was an increase in the number of S. Give (2 in 2024 versus 9 in 2025) and S. Hindmarsh (3 in 2024 versus 6 in 2025)

The Enteric Reference Laboratory confirmed 72 non-human Salmonella isolates in April 2025 compared with 34 April 2024.
There was an increase in the number of S. Bovismorbificans isolates (7 in 2024 versus 11 in 2025), S. Give isolates (3 in 2024 versus 9 in 2025) and S. Hindmarsh isolates (1 in 2024 versus 15 in 2025)
May
The Enteric Reference Laboratory confirmed 87 non-human Salmonella isolates in May 2025 compared with 45 in May 2024.
There was an increase in the number of S. Give isolates (4 in 2024 versus 16 in 2025), S. Hindmarsh isolates (6 in 2024 versus 12 in 2025) and S. Typhimurium isolates (17 in 2024 versus 34 in 2025).
June
The Enteric Reference Laboratory confirmed 44 non-human Salmonella isolates in June 2025 compared with 22 in June 2024.
There was an increase in the number S. Give isolates (1 in 2024 versus 7 in 2025) and S. Typhimurium isolates (8 in 2024 versus 22 in 2025).
