Richard Dean works across PHF Science on projects that gain insight from big data sets to tackle nitty gritty real-world problems affecting human communities in Aotearoa, covering everything from forensic science to human health and the environment. He has a BSc in Information Systems Management from Durham University and wrote an MSc thesis on public health data interoperability standards while working at the Wolfson Research Institute for Health and Wellbeing in Durham.
