Summary

This report summarises results obtained from influenza surveillance in New Zealand for 2009, including some comparisons with previous years. It also includes information on hospitalisations for influenza (obtained from NMDS6 ), notifiable disease information for nonseasonal influenza (obtained from EpiSurv7 ) and influenza immunisation coverage data (obtained from Health Benefits Limited).
